So I want to add a window and a sloder door. new into an existing wall.

the two should touch, but when I do. I get this error message. and it places a infill wall into the opening created by the new window. so now the New window, in the existing wall, also has a filling wall covering it?! How the hell can I stop this? and really. why is this a thing?

Check the phasing of each one. Are the both new? then make them both new.

Is the wall you are putting them into new?

no. existing wall. new window and door cutting it. but instead it cuts it, then add the filling wall for no reason. its a curse show. thanks for the reply, but dont bother anymore. just hid it to stop it from wasting my time.
