I'm trying to convert a model group to a link, in it's simplest form. Using the modify tab - group panel - and selecting "link".
This has worked fine for me every time until this one group.
When I select "Link" it comes up with an error message saying "some elements will be deleted"... which is fine, they are detail items that can be left out of the group. So I hit "ok", select where I want to save it and it appears to save fine. Except that the group never actually converts into a link, it just remains a model group.
Has anyone had this problem? It's just weird, it doesn't explain why it's not converted into a link, it appears like it successfully converts it. Any ideas? And yes, I've tried deleting the detail items out of the group and it still doesn't convert to a link/
Thanks in advance.
