Does anyone know where I can find a clay tile roof family for rendering a model?

To represent each individual roof tile in Revit as a 3D object would probably kill your model and crash Revit. Rendering is about the art of illusion at least until computer power can catch up to modeling everything in 3D. It would be best to simply assign a material to your roof that uses an image of clay tiles. For the ridges you may want to use a sweep to truely give it the 3D you need there and find an appropriate image of just a single width of tile to apply to that sweep.
For more information on rendering go to www.accustudio.com as they have a great material library and textures that are all free. Their tutorials for Accurender are 95% applicable for the Accurender engine that Revit uses for rendering.
Also see my attached PDF for rendering tips.
