Being able to divide your sections into types within your project browser is pretty handy, but how do you delete the types? I'm trying to clean up a project file that has too many people working in it and each creating their own section types which makes your browser a touch messy. Is there any way to reduce the number of section type options?

You should be able to purge any unused styles
File>Purge Unused>Other Styles>Section Tags
