I have a regular ol' 36x84 single flush door in a wall type:
Finish 1[4] : Finish Gyp : 3 5/8" : wraps on
Thermal Air[3] : Air : 1 1/2" : Wraps on
Structure[1] : Steel : 9" Wraps off
and it works fine. When I went to edit the wall type to add the last two lines here:
Finish 1[4] : Finish Gyp : 3 5/8" : wraps on
Thermal Air[3] : Air : 1 1/2" : Wraps on
Structure[1] : Steel : 9" Wraps off
Substrate[2] : Metal Furring : 2 1/2" : Wraps off
Finish 1[4] : FRP : 1/8" Wraps on
It all the sudden had to delete the door and will not accept anymore doors. Any clues as to what I am missing here?
Thanks for your help!
pS: tried turning the substrate wrap on and still nothing.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

Ok.. here's what I found out...
This does not work:
Finish 1[4] : Finish Gyp : 3 5/8" : wraps on
Thermal Air[3] : Air : 1 1/2" : Wraps on
Structure[1] : Steel : 9" Wraps off
Substrate[2] : Metal Furring : 2 1/2" : Wraps on
Finish 1[4] : FRP : 1/8" Wraps on
This does work:
Finish 1[4] : Finish Gyp : 3 5/8" : wraps on
Thermal Air[3] : Air : 1 1/2" : Wraps on
Structure[1] : Steel : 9" Wraps off
Substrate[2] : Metal Furring : 1" : Wraps on
Finish 1[4] : FRP : 1/8" Wraps on
Is there a limit to the thickness of a wall that can accept a door?
Thanks again.

Apparently my door families are messed up. Reverted to an older door library and it worked fine.
