Is it possible to resize the viewport windows that are put on sheets or are they fixed sizes?

You can change view scale under properties. eg. From 1:100 to 1:50 to make it bigger or 1:100 to 1:200 to make it smaller.

The view ports are deterimined by what is on the page that you pulled on. Also if you right click on your drawing and go to veiw properties and in the extents file you can check the box that syas Crop Region when you go out of the properties box thier will be a box around your drawing and you can move the crop region just by clicking on it and draging the nodes. what ever shows up in the drawing is what will show up on the sheet when you pull it on to the sheet.
