Has anyone made gates in railings? Is there an easier way than using a general model and drawing the railings around it?

I guess you could make the gate as a separate railing type...depending on how the gate is shaped...

We've typicall shown the gate in a section of wall to the exact size of the gate. If the gate is 1400mm high and 820 wide make your wall this size to match and place the gate in the wall. You will have to have atleast 1mm or (1/32" depending on where your from) of wall showing either at the bottom or sides so revit doesn't get confused. Cheers, Chris Price.

so you would make the gate as a door? I think that makes a lot of sense.
