I have two issues with my commercial drawings. 1st I am trying to find framing studs and I guess I am doing something wrong. Where can I find some?? 2nd any suggestions on making some plastic vapor barrier?

Typically studs are not modeled in architectural model. We only use stud detail elements in enlarged details. Some contractors who do multiple houses of the same design might want to do stud layout elevations. Look at the autodesk site in the add-ins and you can find some add-ins that will add the studs.
Vapor barriers are typically never modeled either since their thickness is less than what Revit has the ability to show.

For vapour barrier : You can add them in edit structure option of a wall inside revit.
But revit will not let you to add any thickness.
Default will be Zero always.
I dont know it will be showed in the detail section or not.

Search
