I am new to Revit and doing my first project....
I want to demolish a section of roof overhangs to make room for a new addition. I've tried editing the existing roof and splitting the overhang at the fascia, but can't figure out how to split the overhang from the roof at the line of the wall. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Uniqueangle

You could use the opening tool in the modelling tab in the new construction phase on the existing roof for the area you require demolished. Or split the roof into two separate roof sketches, if you are having trouble getting them to align, remember you can go into elevation or section and move the roofs up and down directly rather than trying to work out the proper level offsets...
