The issue I have is that I cannot get my custom border tiles to create “Partial” border tiles where they intersect the edge of the divided surface. “Empty” and “Overlapping”: no problem; but the default “Partial” border tiling: no way. I read that this is a known issue to Autodesk, but I’m wondering if anyone has figured out any kind of work-around. In my case, my divided surfaces are sloped and planar; nothing radical or curvy; all the tiles are orientated in the same X, Y and Z direction. You’d think Revit could calculate for this condition easily. Go figure.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a pattern-based family that is unable to host on a divided surface where pattern is set to "partial?" If so there may be something within the family that is preventing this (in combination with the other divided surface issues you mentioned).

Thank you crwinchester for your suggestion. What I confirmed through Autodesk support, is exactly what I indicated herein; that this is a known issue and therefore unresolvable at this time. I was hoping to gleen some new tip/trick from someone as a workaround. Family is fine. Nothing to fix there. It's a relatively simple pattern-based (half-step) curtain family with geometry. When applied to a divided surface, the boarder tiles overlap the boundary by a couple of inches, despite having a "Partial" constraint; exactly the behavior is this article speaks about:

Manual stitching could help. There was a better tutorial by Paul on youtube, but it looks like it was removed. This one is a next lesson in the series - it should give you some idea. Hope it helps.
Cheers

Thanks pijpiwo! Love the link; love the vernacular…”Stitching”. Even if it doesn’t work, it’s a cool new name to add to our lexicon. Great find. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
