Hi Revit-experts,Iam using revit 2016. Iam having trouble with a door family. The problem is that the opening cut covers details in the door in the project file. The opening covers the door leaf, so i can only se the door frame and the projection lines. In some of the other door families i work with - the opening cut as a line in frint of the door.I dont know how to manage visibility of the opening cut.Does anyone have experience with this?

You write: ".....The problem is that the opening cut covers details in the door in the project file..." < I don't understand. An opening cut just cuts the host wall and is not a solid that would hide something.
Is this possibly a pocket door? If so then say so and better explain your problem.

Opening cut lines are not visible in the project they are the boudary line for cutting through the host. Not really sure what you are talking about with your description. It would be good if we could see an image of the situation

Thanks for your replie.@WWHub: I have attached picture 1-3 to explain my challenge.Pic 1: shows plan view in the family file. Pic 2: shows plan view in the project file
Pic 3: shows plan view in the project file.Pic 1, shows the door as i wish it to do. On pic 2 and pic 3 there is "something" that covers parts of the door. I assumed it was the opening cut. But it might not be the case. I might be wrong - but i think i have had a similar problem, where it was the opening it self that covered some elements - as if its working as a solid. Can you se from the pictures what my problem is?@marmiketin1 - Its solved - It was projection which was drawn in the opening - I though it was opening cut lines. Pic 4 shows the lines Thanks

A pocket door is a door that slides inside a wall into a framed pocket.
Heres an image of a door in the pocket before it has been covered with gypsum. Left side is pocket. right side is opening

Aha - thats what it is. English is not my mother tongue.Ive got the ansvar to what covered the details in the door family - It was the element above the door (i think its called the transom) that didnt follow the door leaf. And the cut plane was set relatively high. Thanks for help
