Is there a way to dimension between 2 points that are neither horizontal nor vertical to one another. In autocad this is done with the aligned dimension feature, but the aligned feature in Revit seems to insist that you select lines that are parallel, rather than allowing, for example, 2 corners to be chosen.

You can select the endpoint of a wall or object by hovering over it and "tabbing" until you see the blue square indicating the endpoint of something. Revit 9 out today will let you dimension to non-parallel objects. You can also add your own reference planes as well to get things to dimension the way you want.
