Hello, I am trying to take the below lines:

*Id Series Eure Tile 2,  running bond

;%TYPE=MODEL

0,             0,             0,             0,             2

90,            0,             0,             2,             4.875,         2,              -2

and change it so that the "tiles" are actually angled at 60 degrees. When I change the angle to 60 degrees the vertical lines no longer stay within the courses, and after playing with the offsets and the shifts I haven't been able to get them back in. I can get it so that most of the pattern looks okay, but if is applied over a large anough surface you can see that the vertical lines slowly start to creep out of the courses. The tile itself is 2"x9.75", with 60 degree angles. Any help would be great. I am in 2016.

You can tab select a pattern line and rotate it when using a model pattern, which is what you are using.

Rotating a model pattern can be very effective in certain situations, but won't work here. Picture a bunch of parallelogram shaped tiles running in a running bond (the tiles themseves having an overall dimension of 2" x 9.75"): that was what I am trying to accomplish. Rotating the existing pattern will keep the tiles rectangular, but just tilt them.  =)

So you are saying the tiles are parallelograms?  That was not clear in your original post.  The "with 60 degree angles" does not mean that since the tile would have 2 60's and 2 30's.

Something must be wrong with your numbers.  A rounding error probably so look again at your calculation for those...add more places if necessary.

Might be easier to use hatchkit.

Unfortunately hatchkit has been giving me a fatal error that causes Revit to shut down completely, so I've been trying to hack this the old fashioned way.

These tiles?

How arranged? This is a running bond:

However I am most alarmed by your report that HatchKit can misbehave within Revit.

Please get in touch with an email to support(AT)cadro.com.au for assistance.

Using this code, how would you add a 1/8" grout line to this pattern?

>Using this code, how would you add a 1/8" grout line to this pattern?

That pattern contains an unbroken line for the horizontal joints.

A grouted tile pattern will contain four sets of broken line repetitions Like this:

the above was created with the Brick&Tile wizard contained in HatchKit.
