I made a generic model (that is not in the list of non-cuttable-families in the help) made up of 2 materials in a sandwich alike configuration and the edges also covered (core of concrete and top, bottom and edges of wood) all with equal visibility settings, and when generating a transversal section through it, both parts are correctly shown but when sectioning it logitudinally, it only shows one material (the exterior one) and not even show the divisory line between them. Any idea why?
Thank you very much.

Sorry but your question is confusing. An image showing the item and where the section is cut may help. I can understand that when you cut transvers, you are cutting through both materials and you see them but in the other direction, you would only be cutting throgh one or the other.

No, in the other direction it is also cutting through both materials.
