Question: I would like to export from Revit one dwg that includes both Room Polylines and Area Polylines (along with the plan). Is this possible?

My problem is that when creating Area in Revit it goes to its own view and I have not figured out how to get it in the same view with the plan, rooms etc.

Cheers,

Harri / Revit 2016

in the area plan created with the area polyline go to the visibility graphics and make sure the rooms are visible and to export them to dwg just tick in the export options in general tab >>>> '' Export rooms , spaces and areas as polylines"

Aah, good idea. I did not think it that way. Thank you Elnazer2 Smile

Only thing is that now I need to copy/paste all the detail stuff etc. from original plan to Area Plan view.

So is there any way to get the Area information to the original plan view?

i dont think its possible to show the area boundary anywhere but in area plan , and its just a copy paste procedure its not supposed to take time and it also will allow you to disregard the unecessary anotation for an area plan .
