Why would 1/3's of my offices 14 pc's not be able to find a Autocad 2016 license while 2/3 of them can.  All of them can find a Revit license on the exact same license server.  I have a single server network license on a LAN. Yesterday they all worked.  Last nigth I updated the license server and license file to include Revit 2017.  All of my Revit options still work yet Autocad is not happy.  Can anyone give me a thought as to why this might be?

Do you still have licenses for other version of autocad on the server. Some licenses only allow you to have a few different versions of the program. What I mean is you cannot have Revit or AutoCAD licenses for all release years from 2006 until now. You must pick and choose the ones you want. This could be what is causing the problem.

I would think having multiple years would play havoc on all of the workstations but i'm willing to give anything a shot at this point.  Revit 2014 - Revit 2017 and AutoCad 2014 - AutoCad 2017 are on the server.

Over the weekend with no server restart one of the faulty computers has started accepting a license file.  That's one less PC to fix but now i'm really confused why all of a sudden it started working.
