I'm using Revit 2015. My view range cut elevation is +1'-0" above the floor I'm framing. Why do I need to make my structural floor 100% transparent to make the beams below it that are supporting it show up???? When I take the transparency away the beams don't appear. When I apply the transparency the framing appears. However, the walls below the slab that I would like to see in a hidden linetype are now in a solid linetype due to the transparency. I don't remember ever having this problem before.

Usually partition walls do not extend into the structural framing but rather stop 6" or so above finished ceiling unless they are bearing walls or are creating a fire seperation. If I were to guess you have your walls below extending up to the current level which is why you see them as your view depth for the floor plan extends dow past the top height of the walls.
