I am trying to create a railing on a small run of just two risers. The railing was set to slope by is host but as you can see in the picture, it does not. No matter what I do, it has this wierd slope. I do not have this problem with the longer runs of stairs. It's only this one. Does anyone know how to fix this? Atlast I thought maybe I will create a sweep. But even with a sweep, I am having a problem. I was able to get the correct angle, but how do I get the ends to turn into the wall? I am attaching images of both the scenario.

Try picking the railing agian and select host then pick the stair. I have the railing work even with a single riser.

I suppose with a model in place and a sweep along a path you can make it paralell to the stair and turn into the wall.

@WWHub - I tried picking the railing n number of times. I need the railing slope to be 1 tread (11") + 11" extension. The funny this that has been happenign is that when I make the railing just one tread long (11"), it does not even slope. It ends up being straight. If I a make it 12", it slopes at the correct angle. But as soon as I add my extension length (another 11"), the slope gets all crazy.
@archigrafix - Like you can see in the picture I created a sweep to fix the slope. I picked a plane parallel to the wall on which the railing is to be mounted. So I was able to create a path for the railing that is parallel to that wall. But the ends that will go into the wall, the path would be perpendicular to the wall face. So, I am not able to add those paths in any view. I get the error that the work plane is at a very sharp angle. Please see image for reference.
Thanks to both of you for responding. I appreciate it.

I finally was able to create a sweep that works as my railing as the railing family itself did not work at all for me. I used the method as described in the link.
