1. How to edit edges of an extrusion vertical AND horicontal?2. What family template would you recomand to use?3. Can you recomand a tutorial a) for lamps b) for a lamp like "Casadisagne AL107NR" ?Hi thereI am drawing a lamp family in RevitArchitecture2016:Casadisagne AL107NRTo have a morerealistic optic I wanna now make the edges of all extrusions rounder. To simplify my issue I created a simple cube and am trying to edit all 8 edges:New Family -> M-Möbel (furniture) -> daw square Extrusion on Groundfloor view -> set hight to get a  cubeThe problem is it would only let me edit the extrusion on the groundfloor view, which lets me to edit the vertical edges only.If I set editing view to front view and than trying to edit the extrusion in front view it will force me to go back to groundfloor view.Any solution?Thank you so much,Ben

If it is a light, then why wouldn't you use a light lemplate?

Your extrusion should not be a square but a square with the rounded corners you want.  And it actually should be two sketches, one for each face.  This extrusion would only be the middle of the body.  The top edge would be a sweep (again with an inner edge) that would follow the main body path.  Then mirror this to create the bottom edge.

Make sure the light source is inside the 'shade' and give it the correct translucent material.  Set the material to be self illumiating.
