Ive inserted an JPG image into my drafting view. it came in as Scale of 96! now I want it to be scaled factor 1. but its greyed out as an option. also, because its scale 96. to get it to 1 using a scale tool and a fraction wont work, as you need a decimal. which is 0.01086956521739130434782608695652 = 1/96...

how can I get this to scale to 1 exactly?

Thanks!

Modify tab -scale - use a reference in the image and stretch shrink to a know dimension.

Yeah. I knew how to do that. I was hoping for a true one-to-one transfer from the jpg scan is all. thanks.

You could always resize the image in a photo editing program first like photoshop and then insert it again

Exactly sort of what I was doing. Except I kept the scanned image/paper at 100% because its an A4 piece of paper in which a 1/8" scale drawing is there. but if you want the scale at the bottom corner of the view to be right and the scale note on the view when on sheet to correspond, you need to do what Hub said. but its all a matter of process I guess. Thanks!

Warc.
