I am in a small consulting firm where I am the only one doing Revit. Since I do not have any other Revit uses to talk with, I am hoping that I can get peoples thoughts on here. I have been working with Revit for over a year and I consider myself new.
I am considering making a splash page to meet some request in the company. The question I have is; How likely would it be that people outside my firm will see a splash page if I make it. I am thinking Architects and others will link my file and not have a reason to open it.
As I am the only one in my firm working on any of the drawings, I don't believe I need a sheet to tell myself what I am trying to tell anyone else that uses my files.
Thanks for all the help and advice that everyone can give me in advance.

It will be possible for them to see the splash view page but highly unlikely. They would have to go looking for it intentionally and by default they wouldn't know it exists.

Thank you dgcad. That is what I was thiking, but I was not sure. Is there a standard pratice to comunicate notes and other information? Would this be just a email, readme.txt file, or in the contract/proposal?

Yes you can. Set the start page view to always be your view that Revit defaults opening to.

Everyone does this, its really handy letting people inside AND outside your firm know where the project stands. Only consultants that open your model (not just link it into theirs) will see it. For ours we have our logo, project schedule, list of contacts and what phase the project is in, plus other stuff and notes on what needs to be done.

rdcameron2, thank you. I think we will have to discuss what we would want on ours. We will at least have the information out there with our files.
