I'm using Revit 2015. I have an architect's model linked in my structural model. I modeled the walls and created an elevation to be able to cut the individual openings in the walls to match the architect's model. I clicked on the wall in the elevation view and the wall highlights in blue, Next I click "Edit Profile" in the ribbon to cut the openings to match the linked architect's model. Finally, I click the green check mark to finish. I now go to the plan view and adjust my view range so the openings appear in my plan.
Here's where it gets strange.... When I uncheck the architect's model in Visibility Graphics so it temporarily doesn't appear in my plan, the openings I've cut in my structural walls dissppear. I don't ever remember my structural openings being associated with a linked model and disappearing when the linked model is turned off. Please help.
