Hey, I am trying to apply a photo as a decal to an elliptically curved wall as a mural. Does anybody know how to do that? Or maybe if I need another piece of software to do it? I have searched everywhere and I can't find an answer. Thanks in advance.

Well that is disappointing. My current idea is to apply paint with a custom material. I have edited the material so the image size is the height of the wall and the curve length of the wall. The weird thing is that now I can't apply any paint to the wall. I have 3 options with 2 options having the same identical elliptical wall with two finishes. The first one is a ledge stone cladding and it worked flawlessly. However, I cannot apply any paint to the second option's wall. They are definitely in their own options. I even tried applying a different paint to the stone wall but it won't change.

Could you upload a project file with only those walls and those materials? Use the purge all ... usually takes 3 times to create the smallest file. MAKE SURE you don't purge that material you want to paint.

Thanks for the offer to help but I figured it out. I am using Revit LT so I made the walls as an "in place wall." Doing this wouldn't let me split the face so I made the wall as two separate extrusions and applied the paint to the two faces. It would only let me paint the wall while editing the wall itself. I made a material with an image the same size as the wall and made a crosshatch pattern to line it up the image with the edges of the wall. It took a lot of screwing around but I eventually lined up the images. As you can tell I am rather new at this software. My college instructor didn't know a lick about this software so I am teaching myself how to use it.
