I am unsure if it a Revit glitch or the way my file/view was setup, but I am missing the option in the Properties palette of Floor Plan view to switch in between Project North and True North. What would cause this? Has anyone else experienced the Orientation missing also? Thanks.

Did you click on that field on the right to see the pull down?
Do you have an applied view template?
Is this view a call-out from another view?

-I am unable to click on that field to the right because that entire line "Orientation | Project North/True North" is not visible in palette.
-No view template applied
-Not a a view callout

so i think the problem might have stemmed from the view having a scope box. Is that possible? I was removing just about everything and after removing scope box and creating a new plan view the Orientation field was visible again. Thanks.

Although I don't see anthing in the Help, it does seem plausible that a scope box will affect this.
Thanks for posting this - it gives us a possible answer we (I) did not know. So many possibilities in user's problems - really hard to ferret out all of the information we need to answer the question.
