May I ask:

The "Cased opening" family does not seem to work in my 2013 version.

How should a person draw a cased opening?

Is there a way to make the door only disappear? or other?

Thank you very much!

Best solution - find one that does work.   Why doesn't yours work.

To quickly create a 'cased opening' family:

  1. open a single flush door family,
  2. do a save as xxxx cased opening
  3. delete the door leaf model element
  4. delete the door panel and door swing annotation lines
  5. delete the threshold lines if any
  6. save then load into your project.
