Hey all,I've been working Revit regularly for quite a while, and rendering pretty often. As I'm finally getting the ropes, I've noticed that one thing I don't have control over is occasional rendering mishaps, such as swirls in patterned glass textures, or roof lines, etc. Basically its as though Revit's rendering engine interprets the patterns strangely and creates a Moray Effect type of deal. I've attached a few images that show what I'm talking about. Image one, it shows up on the frosted glass above the desk and left of the signage. Just to the right of the "texting" woman's head and again near the butt joint in the glass next to her phone. Image two, it shows in the farther end of the roof under "proposed" and the lower roof portion.Sorry in advance for color blocks to cover client organizations and irregular cropping to highlight the areas I'm looking at. I don't mind manual material mapping and touchups in photoshop, but it'd be nice to be able to take some preventative measure. My thoughts are that it relates to location of lighting possibly? Lighting is the element of Revit Rendering that I struggle with most. I've gotten decent at mapping materials fairly accurately, but it takes me a while to get all the lights perfectly in tune with each other. I've taken to using studio lights as back lighting and hiding them around corners to boost the light quality in each room. The fixtures in the ceiling still have illumination but typically fairly low lumen counts, to spread evenly. Any advice on what causes this and how to prevent it would be much appreciated.-C

Looks like image 2 was too large or something. Reduced attached.

This is a common problem with computers and lines that are close together. You can read about it here:

You can only limit it by changing your patterns or scale.
