Hi,

I'm using Revit MEP 2015 and I have opened an arch model and I"m trying to cut a section in the arch model but it keeps telling me that none of the created elements are visible in the RCP plan that I'm tying to cut the section in. I have checked VG and sections are checked to be on and made sure there are no view templates applied. There must be a setting for the sections to be visible. My work around for now is to create a new view in the arch model and then it will let me cut a section and show up, can anyone enlighten me on this.  I have tried just cutting sections in other arch models before and seem to run into this issue a bunch. I have messed with the hide at scales coarser than 1/8" setting and still can't seem to make this work even if I set it to 400'. Maybe I"m not understanding the setting on this but I'm stumped for now. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Revit has a do not show if view is coarser than setting.  Change the view scale to a larger setting and see if the section cuts show.

I have increased the scale of the view and I'm still not seeing the sections in the view.
