Hello all, I'm using Revit 2015.
I've created a custom linetype with text that we use to represent certain reinforcing elements (rebar, mesh, etc.) It works fine whenever I insert it straight into a project. I want this custom "line" to be a part of the rebar family that I've created. While looking at and testing the rebar family by flexing the parameters, the line shows with no problems. But, whenever I insert the "rebar" family into another project, it just shows the line, with no text. Why isn't it showing that text as well? I've included a couple images with the issue.

That link seems to just show how to make the line, which I've already done. The issue comes whenever I try to nest that linetype family into another family.

I tested this and could not get it to work either. I think it is because this line based element is using an array.
