Does anyone know how to globally shut off electrical outlets in a linked model in plan view only in architectural dwgs?

In the view, you can hover over any object associated with a linked revit model, hit tab repetitively until the object is highlighted and then hide it.
or
In the view, hit vv to bring up the visibility/graphic Override control panel. Go to the Revit Links tab and click on By Host View for the linked revit model that the outlets reside on. In new window change the By Host View Option to Custom, go to Model categories and change the By Host View Option to Custom, find your category and turn it off.
