Hi!
I'm currently working on a seniorcenter and I've build up my existing building in existing phase and made rooms with room tags. All of the sudden the existing rooms have been redundant rooms and not enclosed rooms. Like if the walls was'nt room bounding.
The same problem is en the new construktion phase, where the rooms, which have surrounding walls that are set to be room bounding, will not enclose in the rooms. On first floor is no problem. The warning revit gives me is following: The view cut i lower than the room measuring height, some room bounding elements may not be visible. Do you want to continue?". It's like the room only works if the walls are 100mm offset frem to the top constraint.

Rooms are level dependent, must be fully enclosed, have a height and they also are affected by phase. Your view must also cut the room in order to see/tag it.

My walls are has groundfloor as base constraint and 1st floor as top constraint.. if the top constraint gets an offset 100mm, then its no problem for the rooms and tags to be visible. but I don't want my walls to have an offset of 100mm..
what to do?

Please read my earlier post again and address all of those issues. You are not doing that.
I will not download a file from dropbox and the information you provide is not enough for use to see what your problem is. I assure you - this is user error and you have not satisfied the requirements.

- My walls has the correct base constraint and the correct top constraint.
- Base constraint is at Survey point level 3230
- Top constraint is at Survey point level 5783
- The walls are room bounding.
- The view range are set as:
Top - Associated level Offset 2800
Cut plane offset 1200
Bottom Associated level offset 0
View depth associated level offset 0
- all walls are made in the new construction phase
The warning that comes up is: "The view cut i lower than the room measuring height, some room bounding elements may not be visible. Do you want to continue?"

And .... where are your rooms defined (level) and what phase were thay created in? You don't say that.
A section describing what you have would help. Include a line showing where your view limits are and view cut....3 lines. Also click on the room and include an image of the room properties. It tells you what level as well as offsets.

hi
I don't know if tthis is anybody else problem anymore. I ve been struggling with room taging for such a long time. there is an easy solution. check level detail . it should be in fine mode.
