Hi, this is probably a really basic question, but I don't have much experience with families yet...When I bring in a family, like a sofa into my prj, the material of the family, doesn't come into the project...so it renders grey. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the help!

Edit the material in the project and change its accurender to material to what you require.
In Revit when loading a family with materials, if the material name already exists in the project the project version will be used.
It always best to add parameter to control the materials of families then set the materials in the project to avoid duplicate material names etc of the same material.
HTH.
