Hi Guys,

Has anyone ever cae across the issue of when trying to draw a curtain wall it inserts quite thick instead of a nice thin profile, see the image attached. Any help to resolve this would be great.

Andy

I see only one CW.   If you meant the rectangle below, you should have said so - communicate!  That is our business.

You control your project and your object styles tells how to show everything - both projection and cut.  If your view cuts through the middle of a horizontal mullion, you will only see the cut perimeter of that mullion.   If that rectangle is a CW- move you cut plane up or down a couple of inches and see what happens.

thanks for your reply, sorry I should of been more clear, the rectangle is the curtain walling, no mullions or transoms have been currently added so this is just the view of the curtain walling itself, I have tried moving the cut plan up and down slightly but it still has no effect, its seems there must be something in the project that is affecting the thickness of the CW

Look at this curtain wall in section.  If it is still a thick panel, then you must have a CW panel set as your default.

Have you tried to modify cut line weight for curtain panels in VG or globally in object styles?
