Hello,
My problem is as follows: I am making a diagram in a 3D axonometric view, and I want to thicken only the OUTLINE of one of the generic model components - for that, I am using the LW Linework Tool and clicking the individual lines. If there's an easier way to do this, stop me right here and tell me, please!
So select my desired line style and click a line - but now it shows in front of the object in front (attached image). How can I avoid this? I am in Hidden Lines view and everything. Can I create a custom line style that hides itself behind objects? I do not want dotted lines, just nothing showing.
Thanks in advance,
Rune

As you use the line tool you will see a control button on the end so you can control the length of the line. But you can not drag this later. If you make a mistake, use the line tool again to place a by category. You can drag a line back to do one end of an edge, the use the tool again to do the other end.

That is perfect, and so simple, thank you so much. I wonder why this has to be done in such an awkward manner...

You can also override the object’s projection lines.
Select an object -> right click -> override graphics in view -> by element -> projection lines -> weight.
Unless you want to highlight only some of the edges of the object, then use the linework tool.
