I've spent hundreds of hours creating details in 2015 using 2D components I have made.  One family I use is a rebar family with an adjustable length.  The issue I am having is when I am bringing one of these details into 2016 all my rebar is coming in at the same length, rather than the lengths I drew them to.  Other familes come in at the wrong orientation.  Has anyone else had this issue or have a fix for it?  I can't be fixing all of these every time there is a new version.

We really don't have enough information here.   Maybe if you post one family and describe what happens with that family, we can check it out.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain it very well.  Here are 3 files.  One is how the detail looks in 2015, the second is how it looks in 2016.  As you can see all the rebar I drew shortened to the wrong lengths.  I also attached the rebar family I used.  Thanks for your help.

You didn't say - was this a project upgraded from 2015 to 2016 or did you simply place this family in a new 2016 project?

You do understand that this family has an instance length of 1'-3" and that is what it will be unless you change it?

This detail was brought over from a 2015 project to a 2016 one.  I used an instance parameter in order to stretch the detail to the correct length in my drawings.  Is that not the correct way of doing it?  Again thank you for looking at this.

You say you brought this 'detail' over from another project.   To me that means it was a drafting view that you imported from one project into your new project.  To do that, you would have had to upgrade your old 2015 project to 2016 first.  Did you examine that upgrade to determine if their were any problems?
