So i am tired of having to select all of my settings whenever i need to cut a section. How do i pre-set these settings so that I can just cut a section and go??

Not sure if you can prset setting so the section defalts to the samething when cut but have you looked in to View Templates? With one of these setup all you would have to do in three clicks and it would be exactly how you want it. Depending on the size of your project it would be anywhere from instant to about 15 seconds to apply.

Look at your properties when you create a view. That type can have a view template assigned. I suggest you edit your project template to include view templates.
