I thought I understood shared parameters when it came to nested families, but I'm stumped.
Using Revit 2015, I'm building a track lighting family. I have the track head as a nested family in the track (followed the AutoDesk instructions for that). I can control the spot angle, beam angle, etc in the parent family, but when I load that into a project, I can no longer control any of those things. I know I need to connect them, but that little equals sign that appears on the right side of the parameters ins't there in the host family.
Does that make any sense? I know I need to close the circle, but I can't figure out how.
Thanks.
