Hi, i hope someone can help with this. I am trying to insert a skylight that has been created as a roof based model at the ridge of a roof. I want it to sit parallel with the floor below, but it will only snap to one side of the slope or the other, is there any way of creating a family that will sit on a roof ridge?

Open up the family In the Family Editor, select Family Category and Parameters from the Settings menu.
Select the check box to enable the Always Vertical parameter.
Click OK.
