R14...

I've never seen anything like this... For sections, callouts, and other detail views certain section marks are showing up floating well outside the annotation crop box. (S2)

When we drag these views on to sheets this becomes an obvious problem as they may interfere with other views, not to mention the referenced view doesn't refer to anything we want in that view anyway. (S3)

The very odd thing is that when you do a "zoom to fit" on the sheet, it doesn't recognize those extraneous referenced views out there. (S1) This is good since it doesn't screw up printing in any way but we still need to resolve this problem.

Is this a graphical glitch or has someone experienced this before?

I have seen this for several years and not sure what causes it.  I always just pick them and hide in view.  Probably should do something else but never have seen an answer to this.

Well curse, that's reassuring and disappointing at the same time. Good to know it wasn't something on our end and seems to be a Revit issue.
