I am working on a renovation project where we are adding a curtain wall that cuts into the existing moulding at the top of the wall. However, when I place the curtain wall the moulding is not cutting out where the new curtain wall is. I created this wall myself with a sweep within the wall type.

Is there any way to get the moulding to cut out where the new wall is. Please see attached.

I am always surprised at users that post images without pointing out the problem.   I can see the CW but I don't have a clue as to where this 'moulding' is.

Should the moulding be copletely cut or only partially?  Communication is what this is all about.

My apologies. Where the red line is is where it cuts into the moulding and the purple is where the moulding is. I hope this clears things up.

Can you attach a section through that area for us?

I kind of thought it may be what you point out but that is definitely NOT a moulding!  I've never seen a moulding larger than 8-10".

As it is now, your sweep will only cut all or nothing but to cut, the intersection has to be more than half way.

Edit your wall definition - the sweeps and set it to be cutable.

Making the sweep cuttable worked. Thank you.
