I had a look at th site. It's a good start.

Do these custom familes come with shared parameter files for tagging and scheduling purposes? That's my biggest pet peave when getting content off the web. Because otherwise there's a a fair bit of work to be done to achieve that esapecially after the familes are populated all over the place. The draftsman grabs all the familes, places them all over the project and then someone says 'Hey can you tag the families and schedule the parameters and the draftsman says "No". Then there's a ton of 'rework that begins'.

Just a word of advice to the actual content creators "Use a shared parameter for all the paramters so people can tag and schedule those parameters later if they want to" To do otherwise is realy only doing half the job.

Also if the families are just imported CAD linework and poly meshes then they aren't real REVIT families and won't behave or render like real REVIT families. A novice REVIT user might not pick up on that and can cause confusion. Perhaps label the familes that are just OLD imported CAD linework accordingly so people will know ahead of time what they are actually buying.
