does anyone know how to set the line weights in section such that the furthest thing has the lightest line weight than the things infront?

View depth clipping is not yet possible in revit.
It is a wishlist item.

like spot said it's a wish from long time ago... and Revit 9 is not going to bring joy either...
you can play with override host layer in your graphic/visibility setting and set cut line style to show a heavy line and use the linework tool to set a light gray colour to items far away... a lot of work but that's what we are stuck with right now...

well..... i guess using photoshop would be make better?
at least it cut down all the hastle that have to go through setting in revit

i'm struggling here but yeah, i think photoshop is a good option just select the area you want and change the curves. altho, it will become a raster image, and ploting with it isn't the best way.

kkohutek, Watch yourself with these older posts, things have changed with REVIT Architecture. Now you can override the visability of entire areas of your elevations and change their apperance to halftone or their lineweights.

WWHub, right after I posted it I tried different ways to change the line weights it's true, there are other things to do than what I said. hope it will change.
