I am having some troubles in my 3d view. Everything looks transparent. My end goal is to have to hide things to see them. I have the "realistic" mode turned on, detail level is on "fine" ..Im fairly new to Revit. Im using Revit 2016.
Thanks folks!

I can't seems to replicate the result you're having. I'm guessing it could be related to your graphics card.
Are there any overrides on the elements that are transparant? Right-click on element > Override Graphics in view > By Element.

If those elements are set to default, check out your default materials and see if they are set to transparent.
