I've placed some bathroom vanities on an upper floor plan, and they're showing through on the floor below, which has its own casework. I can't just switch the casework off in visibility graphics, and when I check in the properties and interior perspectives the upper floor casework seems to be correctly placed. Has anyone encountered this problem? If you're having trouble understanding I'll include some PDF's.

Check to see if there is an underlay turned on in the view. This setting is located in your view properties-->Underlay. Turn off the underlay and it should resolve the issue.
If this isn't the issue then I'd wager its something to do with the actual family.

It's not an underlay issue, I tried that. The family should be good too, because it's one of the families that comes with Revit. It's frustrating because it's happening on multiple projects. The Families are Vanity Cabinet - Double Door Sink Unit, and Vanity Counter Top w Round Sink Hole.

Unfortunately i've never experienced this so makes it difficult to diagnose, are they in the correct location when viewed in 3D?
What are you view range settings for the view in question? Try lowering the top clip plane.
Other than that send the file to support as i don't think i could help beyond that without looking at the file or a few screenshots at least.

It was the view range. I had the top of my view range right at finish floor. The strange thing is that the countertops at 3'-0" above finish floor were showing up as well, but lowering the top end of the view range 1'-0" solved the problem. Everything did work correctly in 3d, that was the wierdest part. Thanks for your help.

We don't know how your casework was created or placed. Click on it and look at its properties. If placed in reference to an offset from the level, you may be able to adjst it there. You might also jsu cut a section and see if you can move it up there. If this is a poorly built family, we would have to look at it.

Sounds like a negative offset or elevation to me.

when i created the slab for the floor i had to raise it up to be above the footing that is why the casework is sitting down in the slab, but when i look at the properties for the cabinet i can not find a option for elevation, where would this be located ?

Instead of raising the floor slab, you should have raised your level or lowered your foundations..
There are many options here and I would abandon your old level and add a new one where it should be. Then change the appropriate items to this new, correct level.
BTW - You will also have troubles with other entities like doors if you don't correct your level problem.
