I am concept designing a city block that has 4 hi rise towers (up to 200m) sitting on a podium.

My current work method is to create the external wall outline only (not using massing) and placing a floor slab at each level.  I can easily get the gross area calculated.  Each level shows the floor plan of all the  towers.

The tag for each Tower is Area XX.XXXm2      How can I get the schedule to label each tower  during the creation of the area views  "Tower A"  "Tower B" etc.  So that I can group and separate the areas per tower in the schedule.

Many thanks

Create an instance shared parameter, area category (text). Apply area to all floors - all towers, select all areas tower by tower (use filter tool if needed) applying value to your new shared parameter - Tower A, Tower B, etc. Create area schedules for each tower and filter by the new shared parameter.

Create one more area schedule with no filters, so all areas are shown for all towers. This is just for the coordination purposes. If any area slipped away unmarked, it will be easy to spot it there – new shared parameter field will be blank for that floor.
