OK. This is probably really simple, but I'm missing something. I'm doing a restoration of a 1885 large victorian. Stairs are existing, so I put them on this phase. They look fine on existing plans with the lines dashed 1/16" gap above the cut line. On plans for new phase the stairs show up as grey lines, but the lines above the cut are solid grey also. A very confusing mess. What is the solution to this problem I am experiencing? I looked for a parameter that might fix it but to no avail.

Open up the visibilty/ graphic overides and scroll down to stairs. Un check the "stairs beyond cut line" and "stringers beyond cut line" that should fix the problem.

Thanks for the insite. That was very helpful. I am surprised I didn't see that before!
