I have a pivot door for a curtain wall panel. I would like to be able to show the door swing angle in plan view at different angles. I set up a parameter for the swing angle. but when I place the family in a project I get a message saying it cannot make the type and wants to delete it.

I am attaching the family

I don't know what Revit so I did not look at your family.

Download the 'families guide' from the autodesk site.   It will show you how to define swing angles in door families.

your suggestion is how I typically create the swing angle. all of my other doors have that swing angle. but for some reason when I try to create the swing angle in this curtain wall door and place it in a project I get the message saying it cannot create the type and wants to delete the family.

I was hoping someone could take a look at the attached family and give me their best guess as to what I am missing?

Sorry, I'm getting too old - missed your 2015 date and I looked twice!

I looked at your family and you built it wrong.   Download what I said - the answer is there.

I have been able to get the adjustable angle for the door swing. but now when I flex the family in the project I get the message saying that it wants to delete the type. or when i change the angle the arcs dont keep the same radius.

I am attaching this updated family
