I am having trouble understanding how one of the families is created in the download area.

The questions are:
1. Where is the spacing set? usually I put it one of the views as dim lines where I add an lable. I cannot find it from this one.
2. What are the conditions for matching nested family parameters.E.g there is nested sunshade which has Height. And there is total high on the host family. If I lock host family ref lines and give it an lable and change the value then it underconstrains it. How Can i transfer over the new value into nested family (Height value).

The spacing is fixed - not variable. The number of blades is set by a formula in the nested louver family.
