Hi all,
Probably an old question but I've searched through the forum and haven't see anything I can use. My dilemma is, I've room data sheets (plan, elevations, ceiling plan) dimensioned up in an architectural model. Some elements in the rooms have now changed in a new revision of the model which I have a copy of on my c drive. I want to use the new revision with the original room data sheets I have created and annotated up on the original model. I have tried importing file however the sheets do not appear on the list I can select from.
Is there a way I can a) copy the sheets with title block, views and annotation from original model to new model or b) import the new revision of the model into the original project and delete the original model. Apologies but I am new to revit but learning a lot from reading all your posts.
Thanks in advance

The question is - what are these views really?
Model views can not be copied from project to project as you have discovered.
If you are doing a new revision of the model, you should have started with the old file, then you would have all of these sheets already.

Hi WWHub
I am getting these files from the architect. I had the sheets with view and dimension created, he has now changed some elements in the rooms and sent me the file.. So the new file will still have the sheets and views on it, but it won't have all my dimensions. So in reality, I don't want to start dimensioning the new file when the original file has all the sheets (223 of them) fully dimensioned. A solution would be very appreciated

Your running before you learned how to walk. We can't help a lot with the process you used.
You didn't tell us that you didn't control the model. Your better process would have been to start your own file and link his file into that. It that file, you could then dimension his walls etc and your new things and when he moved the walls, your dimesions would already be changed.
You solution options now are:
- Do it right - he may yet change again.
- Export your old sheets to CAD and change them there. (You could then bring them back into Revit but there are other issues you should learn before you do that.
