For some reson I can't tag the foundation wall at the foundation plan,what I'm missing ?

I'm trying to use spot elevation to set the top of foundation wall,I can tag just the footing,help please

What Revit version?

What Tag?  You say tag but then you say spot elevation.  So if elevation, what spot elevation family?

 

You also say top of foundation wall.  So is your view cut above the top of the wall?  (AND there is no wall on top of this wall - correct?

thank you for respond !! revit 2014,yes elevation spot to show the top of wall foundation and foorting at the foundation plan

the spot elevation family ( top of wall )

yes my view is above and I tried the plan region to show the foundation wall cut but didnt work for me for some reson

It works fine for me so it is your process.

  • This is truely a plan view - not a 3D set to plan
  • The elements are in the view, not in an underlay.
  • You can see the elements - they are not hidden by something like a floor or a transparent item.
  • The spot elevation is ON in the view VG.
  • Why did you write: "the spot elevation family ( top of wall )' ?   Spot elevations are for everything.   You are not using something else - correct?
