Hi All,
There are a couple spots in my project where two doors on perpandicular walls are close enough that the door plan graphic for each over lap (not ideal from a design standpoint, but it is what it is).
What I've done:
-turned the door panel's visibility off in plan and put in lines in the plan viewinstead
-Used the dimension angular to mark the angle between the face of the door line and the face of the wall and assigned a parameter to it. In dimensioning I have tried both clicking the wall face first and clicking the door line first and get the same problems listed below.
Problem 1: If the door starts out at 90 degrees and I assign the door angle parameter I get the error message "Constraints are not satisfied" and if I remove constraints then the parameter is not assigned at all.
Problem 2: If I start the door at anything less than 90 degrees, and assign the parameter, then when I flex it the door pivots at the wrong end (see attached screenshots).
I also tried using a reference line and aligning my door lines to that. Then making the dim angle between the wall face and the reference line. Same as problem 1 if I start at 90. If I start at anything less and then flex, the door/reference line seem to pivot at some arbitrary point.
Any suggestions?

You need a door family where the door swing angle can be set correctly. If you built this family, you could edit it to work correctly. Download the "families guide" from the autodesk site. It explains how to create swings like this in families.
